Dylan Gerlach is a Louisville native and dedicated physician specializing in gastroenterology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Spanish from Murray State University, followed by a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Louisville. Dr. Gerlach completed his Internal Medicine residency and subsequently his fellowship in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Louisville. During his training, he was consistently recognized for academic excellence, earning top scores on his in-training exams.

Dr. Gerlach has also contributed to a wide range of research in gastroenterology, including work on GERD, protein-energy malnutrition, afferent loop syndrome, and gastrointestinal complications related to systemic illness. His research has been published and presented nationally at meetings such as Digestive Disease Week and the American College of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Gerlach is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He also has a strong history of community service, including medical mission work in the Dominican Republic and healthcare outreach in underserved areas across Kentucky.
